SINGLE ORIGIN
Tasting Profile: Light-Medium Roast Guatemalan Coffee
Experience a smooth light-medium roast that delights with rich notes of chocolate, maple, and plum, beautifully complemented by the sweetness of apple and subtle undertones of black tea. This coffee features a medium body and vibrant plum-like acidity, showcasing the exceptional terroir of Guatemala’s volcanic highlands.
Origin & Region: Guatemala, Huehuetenango/Antigua
Sourced from Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala's highest and driest coffee regions, this coffee benefits from rugged terrain, limestone-rich soils, and high-quality smallholder production. The natural conditions in this region develop dense, sweet coffees with vibrant acidity. Meanwhile, Antigua, nestled in a valley surrounded by three volcanoes, provides rich volcanic soil and a stable climate, making it ideal for producing coffees with exceptional balance, body, and sweetness.
Altitude & Processing: 1,500-2,000 MASL (meters above sea level)
We employ a washed processing method in the high-altitude regions of Huehuetenango and Antigua, enhancing the clean and bright flavors characteristic of Guatemala's premier coffee-producing areas. The careful fermentation and washing process effectively removes the fruit mucilage, allowing the complex characteristics of chocolate, fruit, and tea-like nuances to shine through with exceptional clarity.
Blend Composition: Bourbon, Typica, Caturra
Our blend features premium Guatemalan Arabica varietals: Bourbon, Typica, and Caturra. Bourbon offers a sweet, balanced profile with notes of red fruit and chocolate, while Caturra contributes bright acidity and citrusy vibrancy. Typica provides clean structure and complexity. Together, these heritage varietals create the distinctive Guatemalan profile of chocolate sweetness, fruit complexity, and a tea-like finish, defining this exceptional coffee origin.
